Kaisa Ylituomola, House manager of Kalliolan kesäkoti.

Kalliolan kesäkoti, built 50 years ago for families who did not possess the finances or the opportunity to travel during the Summer seasons in Helsinki City.

The Summer home has not been renovated since the 1970’s and is in severe need of full refurbishment.
Now it seems aid is on the way after a resident who had spent her childhood there addressed the proceeds of her will to the Summer home.

A High mid day sun proves difficult at the very best of times, today's location was under canopy of fairly tall tree's, so I tried to avoid the stray beams of intense light penetrating through the leaves and branches by finding more of the consistent shade.
Two strobes were used, one Nikon SB-28 high up and close on camera right at 1/4 power accompanied with a Stofen Omnibounce, then a second SB-28 on camera left fired into a gold reflector on 1/8 power. Both strobes fired remotely using Pocket Wizards.
